Information about the Little Clown Project

We are honoured that the British author Clare Wigfall contacted the String civic association.

The String civic association cooperates with her company ""Little Clown Face Painting":[http://w­ww.littleclow­n.com/]". Clare and her helpers turn the children into their favourite figures; together with the clown they make a clown's perfor­mance. The String civic association provides the psychological and social aspect of this project so that it is especially suitable for children from children's and infant homes.

In 2006 we have visited the Children's Home in Kasperske hory, the children's home for children up to the age of three in As and the Infant Home in Karlovy Vary. Then, in 2007, the Children's Home in Milovice near Nymburk, the Children's Centre Veská near Pardubice, the Children's Home Stránčice and the Children's Centre in Zlín. We are happy that we can help make other children in other children's homes laughing.
