The name String given to this foundation means to lead the children along the rocks of their lives and to connect them with the others and not to let them feel abandoded. It symbolizes an imaginary uneasy life journey of abandoned children to find a happiness (open arms of a close human being).

A String Foundation has started its activity in spring 2006 with the aim of offering all-round help and support for abandoned children in infant and children homes to reduce the impact of the emotional deprivation on the psychic aspect of a child. The foundation tries by a simple human contact to make children as independent as possible , to give a meaning to their lives and to help them to incorporate in the society.
