Healing Arms Project on journeys 2009

Twelve childred aged from 2 to 5 from the Infant Institute Svitavy and from the Children´s Home Broumov came to Orlické Mountains to take part in the project Healing Arms on a Journey organized a second year.

We prepared for them a great deal of healing methods and joyful experience – the traditional Small Clown canistherapy by Mr and Mrs Loučka, agility and dancing with the doggies of Digbag company, art therapy and games. Children also enjoyed themselves with the horse Laik. They could chat with him and he carried them around on his back.

They visited a farm with a tamed boar Otík. The older and more courageous ones tried walking on a climbing rope attached to the tree branches two meters high above the earth. Every evening the children were entertained by bedtime stories acted live and the last evening we all gathered around the campfire.
